Compression Tube
Fittings
General Features:
- TRUEWAY Tube Fittings are
generally Double Compression / Twin Ferrule Type with Front & Back
Ferrules & Nut (Factory Assembled). Single Ferrule Type Fittings
are also available on request.
- Pipe Threads: Generally
all Male / Female Pipe Threads are provided as NPT. However other
threads as BSP / BSPT Threads, Metric, ISO or any other threads can
be supplied upon Request. All threads are as per standard Go-No Go
Gauges.
- Silver Plating on Nuts:
It is a standard practice at TRUEWAY to supply all SS Tube Fitting
Nuts with Silver Plating on Threads. This avoids Thread
Seizure / Galling during use & Reuse.
- Ferrules are with
Controlled Hardness to achieve proper swaging on Tube.
- Testing of Fittings can
be performed at Hydraulic Pressure up to 10000 PSI & up to 2000
PSI on Gas with our In house Testing facility. Testing is done as per
required specifications.
- Fittings are also
suitable for High Impulse, Vibration & Temperature applications
as already in use at various sites.
- Plastic end caps are
provided on Threaded ends & Tube OD side for Protection.
- 1 -1/4” Turn
tightening of Nut from Tube Snug Position is enough for taking high
pressures. For up to 1/2 “ OD size 1 -1/4" Turn can be achieved
with two spanners by hand without using vice.
